When preparing for your whitetail
deer hunting trip, there are a few things to keep in mind to make
your trip an exciting and memorable experience and to increase your chances of snagging
that trophy. You will obviously want to make sure you plan your hunt based on where
whitetail deer tend to group and focus on those areas; if you’re not yet sure
how to find these areas, our hunting guides will help point you in the right direction.
Places with a lot of feed and cover are generally great areas to stalk. During the
colder months, you have a good chance of finding animals in areas with sunlight
to keep them warm.
Evening and early morning are the best times for whitetail deer hunting.
Hunting tops and clearings are best hunted at first light and right before it gets
dark in the evening. And remember to avoid using fabrics that make a lot of noise
so you don’t scare away the deer.
